We absolutely love going to beautiful places for the day and also taking mini-breaks. We are sure you are the same.

We are also keen amateur photographers. No expensive equipment. All we use is our phones. This is something we do every time we go somewhere. In fact, we took all the photos on this website with our phones.

We know what it's like searching on the internet for good places to go. Finding these places is easier said than done. We have been disappointed so many times. We have often seen on the internet what looked like a good place to go only to find it to be a complete disappointment and a big waste of our time.

For example, when we went to Northern Ireland, we searched for somewhere we could see waterfalls and take some photographs. We saw on the internet what looked like a good place. It took us an hour to drive there. What a big let down. Thankfully, we went to another place and it turned out to be a gem.

 

This is just one of many times this has happened. There's a high chance this has happened to you. So we know what it's like.

So we decided to help other people. Just like you.

This is the reason we started 'We Love UK Places'.

 

Our simple goal: To help you find the best places to go on days out and mini-breaks.

 

We do this by sharing real, unfiltered stories of our experiences of the beautiful places we find in the UK. From hidden coastal gems to the beautiful spots we discovered. We even tell you about the nice cafe's and restaurants we go to.

Also, if you have a dog, like we do, you'll notice we tell you about places that are dog friendly. You don't want to go somewhere your dog is not welcome.
